The Mountain Weavers’ Guild was started by two of our current members in May 2008. They wanted a place to build on their artistic skills and to make strong community connections with other professionals in the creative arts industry.
In June 2008, the Guild began participating in farmers’ markets throughout the Adirondacks. To keep up with the demand for their work, the Guild grew to eleven members by the end of that year.
On December 15, 2008, the Guild opened a small shop and studio on Main Street in downtown Port Henry where members of the Guild sell their work and demonstrate their skills.
